Kasey Dunn, a former assistant head coach at Washington State, is coming back to the state to serve as the Seahawks running backs coach. Dunn most recently was employed at Maryland and before that worked at Baylor.
He has spent the past 15 years coaching collegiately. He's had minority coaching fellowships with the Seahawks (2003) and the Broncos (1997). He was well regarded at Washington State.
Dunn replaces Stump Mitchell, who went to Washington to serve as offensive coordinator under Jim Zorn. Mitchell's departure leaves only one assistant coach on the Seahawks staff who has been with Mike Holmgren since his arrival in seattle in 1999 and that's tight ends coach Jim Lind.
