Employees of the Month
Posted by Geoff Baker
It's pouring rain here and they could not get the Safeco Field roof closed in time before it got doused. And yet, these two guys, above and below, kept right on hosing down the field. They were paid to make it wet and gosh darn it, they were going to do their jobs even if someone up above was making it wet already. No imbrellas or wimpy raincoats either. For that, these two are our co-winners of the Employee of the Month honor. Congratulations. Hopefully, Howard Lincoln takes notice.
Other nominees who didn't quite make the cut:
That's Chuck Armstrong and Jim Riggleman in case you weren't sure. They look just like the rest of us do when we have to wake up early on a Sunday morning and go to work at a job that isn't exactly paying dividends, don't you think?
No, the shot above is not a file photo.
Nicole Zaloumis of FSN gave it the ole' college try. But she's just sitting there. Had she hosed down the third base line we'd probably have given her the nod.
