Hargrove resigning

That's the word we've gotten. Talk about a shocker. Maybe he read my blog entry yesterday and decided to go out on top. Just kidding about that, but seriously, when's the last time a guy steps down with his team 11 games above .500? None of this is official. But that's what our sources are telling us. Larry Stone deserves all the credit for breaking this. He's the one who has done all the legwork while I head to the airport to board my flight. A great job by Stoney. But wow, what a change of events surrounding the M's. John McLaren would seem the logical successor. Stay tuned for more on this announcement in coming hours.
