First postseason award
Posted by Percy Allen
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its NABC Division I All-District teams, selecting Washington's Jon Brockman to the first team and Justin Dentmon to the second team.
You can see the press release here.
Joining Brockman on the District 20 first team is Arizona State's James Harden, Arizona's Jordan Hill, UCLA's Darren Collison and California's Jerome Randle
Dentmon highlights the second team that includes: Arizona's Chase Budinger, USC's Taj Gibson, California's Patrick Christopher and Arizona State's Jeff Pendergraph.
The NABC Division I All-District teams is the first college basketball honors of the postseason and it could be a barometer of other awards.
The Huskies, Wildcats, Sun Devils and Bears each had two players selected, which seems to make sense. The Los Angeles schools each had one player chosen.
The player on the bubble seems to be Washington State's Taylor Rochestie who is a second-team choice for many coaches and media types.
