In regards to the two new opponents:
--- Cleveland State is picked by Athlon's to win the Horizon League this year, returning its top two players off a team that last season went 21-13 and beat Florida State, South Florida and Butler and qualified for the NIT. So CSU will hardly be a pushover.
---Florida International isn't anywhere near as good, having gone 9-20 last season and picked to again be a lower-tier team in the East Division of the Sun Belt Conference.
