Bryan-Amaning scores 11, but Great Britain loses

UW center Matthew Bryan-Amaning scored 11 points today as Great Britain lost to Norway 88-75 in the U20 European Championships.
Here's the boxscore, showing MBA going 4-13 from the floor and 3-8 from the free throw line along with 10 rebounds, a surprising five steals and five turnovers in 28 minutes.
Great Britain will play again Wednesday against a team still to be determined.
Here are MBA's stats through four games, showing he is averaging 13.8 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 37.5 percent from the floor and 13-29 on free throws.

Wolfinger back in action

Had a chance yesterday to watch the UW basketball team for a few minutes in between football duties, and noticed that Joe Wolfinger was back on the floor. He had been sitting out, resting his foot. I'll try to get more of a peek at the hoops team again sometime this week. Many of the players are working this week with the Lorenzo Romar basketball camps on-campus.
