Conroy signs with Nets summer league team
Posted by Bob Condotta
Will Conroy's efforts to make it back to the NBA will take him through New Jersey as the former Husky has signed to play for the Nets summer league team.
Conroy worked out for a number of teams, including the Sonics and Pacers, before deciding on the Nets.
Conroy spent most of last year in the Italian League, returning late in the year and playing in the NBA D-League for a little while. He had a productive stint in that league, averaging 17.4 points per game and shooting 41.4 percent on three-pointers, showing continued improvement in that area.

That's awesome for Conroy. He's still one of my favorite recent Huskies and I wish him all the best. I'd really like to see him play again in person sometime to see how he's looking compared to college. Sounds like he's scoring quite a bit and shooting well from 3.

Thanks Bob, nice to hear Conroy is still getting after it. Wish him all the best.
Huskies are going to be tough this season, look for a top three finish.
