Larry Brown to Stanford?
Posted by Bob Condotta
After I noted yesterday that the Stanford coaching search, according to available reports, seemed pretty devoid of big names, the San Jose Mercury News reveals today that Larry Brown could be a candidate.
That would be fun.
Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports also says Brown could be in the mix and reports that Mark Few is among those who has spurned interest from Stanford.
UPDATE 9:30 A.M. --- And in some interesting scheduling news around the Pac-10, Washington State and LSU have apparently agreed to play a home-and-home series the next two years, with the Cougars making the trip to Baton Rouge next season.
LSU played at both UW and Oregon State two seasons ago and hosted both last season.
