Bennett says he's staying
Posted by Bob Condotta
After a report in our paper today that he had talked with LSU officials last week at the Final Four, WSU coach Tony Bennett announced this afternoon that he is staying in Pullman.
Here's the official release from WSU.
The LSU job had intrigued Bennett due in large part to his wife's ties to the area --- he was married in a church in Baton Rouge.

Their is absolutely no way that Kansas would have interest in the Bennett system. Think about it for a moment (remember Roy Williams' comments regarding the Bennett system). Kansas has developed a system (20+ years) founded on transition basketball. They averaged 80 ppg this season. No one in Lawrence would accept a change to this philosophy...and they don't have to because they will have all kinds of options.

What if Self takes the job with Oklahoma State, it sure is a lot of money to say no to.
Bennett would have to be interested in Kansas, and you would think they would be interested in him.
I dont think the cougs are out of the woods just yet.
