Jerryd Bayless turning pro
Posted by Bob Condotta
Little surprise in the news today from FoxSports.com that Arizona's Jerryd Bayless is turning pro.
Arizona coach Lute Olson had held out hope Bayless would return, but no one else seemed to think that would happen. Arizona now waits to see what Chase Budinger will do. If he doesn't come back, Olson will have a big job on his hands.

dave,
like all Husky fans ....UR an idiot....plz tell us how ur last post has anything to do with "Irony"......next someone is gonna tell me how lorenzo Romar should be fired just cause he is the best coach weve ever had just cause their bored that the Husky Football team and its fans are the biggest joke except no one cares outside the 206 area code......so the question is....if a Husky Football fan makes a noise does anyone care besides a Husky Fan??
awesome.......the Huskies are gonna thrive next season cause allthe good players are going pro.....thank god Brockman has no chance of ever playing in the NBA and the Dawgs ARE TOP 3 BOUND IN THE PAC-10

tj--your drinking is starting to really shine in your posts...thanks for your wisdom? Seriously, seek help...you are the most annoying poster now that Geno has run away. Which brings me to ask...are you Geno? Your sentence structure is eerily similar...get a life bro

I am certain WSU would much rather win with the best players playing. Too bad these pansy freshmen are opting to turn pro. Pansies – one and all.
I am pretty certain that all will end up like the gimp Hawes – you know, the freshmen that turned pro then had to sit out most of the season due to injuries. Who wants to see a gimp run up and down the floor taking 3 minutes each to do so? By the time gimp Hawes makes to the offensive side of the floor the defense is already back and set up. Real pathetic.
When will these NBA owners get it through their thick skulls and quite drafting pansies. Draft real man, not pansy freshmen.

After UCLA's defeat yesterday, it looks as though the Pac 10 may not have been as strong as everyone thought this year. If they were definitely the best the Pac 10 had to offer and they got "schooled" on national TV in the semis, that doesn't leave the Pac 10 on solid ground for claiming that distinction. Nonetheless, it was at very least a very solid year for the conference. Next year...may, though, look very different with a lot of top talent departures looming...
Memphis by double digits in the final.

Geno you are very uniformed. Hawes has played great this year and in his only start he played 38 minutes had 19 points on 9-13 shooting with 12 boards and 4 blocks. He has had a few injuries but not any more than bradon roy or any player that is making the transition from 38 games a year to 82. I guess the NBA owners were stupid for drafting Kobe, Lebron, Carmelo, Jermaine O'Neal, Kevin Garnett and on and on.

Romarville86 - saying Hawes' name in the same breath as Kobe, Lebron, Carmelo, Jermaine O'Neal, Kevin Garnett, or any legit NBA player is ludicrous and idiotic. That is like comparing French Poodles to a Mastiff – no comparison and down right lunacy.

Geno-
Hawes played 38 minutes tonight and had a double double. I never said a word comparing Hawes to those guys, I was replying to your idea that NBA GM's should never draft guys out of high school or after one year in college. It amazes me how you read things and hear what you want to hear instead of taking things for what they are. You have very little sports knowledge and if I had to guess I would think you are under 15 years old
