Spurs sign Jones
Posted by Bob Condotta
In case you missed it, the Spurs on Tuesday signed former Husky Bobby Jones to a 10-day contract.
This story details the signing as well as all of the transactions this season involving Jones, which have been numerous ---- this is now the fifth NBA team he has played for this year.
He played six minutes and 50 seconds last night in San Antonio's rout of Golden State.

Come to think of it, Bobby Jones really resembles Bruce Bowen down to the early career. They have the same build and more importantly, the same defensive acumen. Of course he's not defensively as effective as Bowen for now, far from it. However, with couple more seasons with Spurs under his belt, he would be a distinguish defender. He already proved his work ethic in UW. Let's hope that Bobby Jones turns into the next Bruce Bowen!!
