As stated earlier, I had to miss practice today and we weren't able to get anyone else there.
But talking to some people who were, and reading some of the other reports, sounds like an interesting day.
For one, former Husky Lawyer Milloy was a visitor today, speaking to the team before hand then hanging around for practice --- here's a report on some of what Milloy had to say.
This seems to further confirm that new coach Steve Sarkisian has no trouble accepting former Huskies back into the fold in some capacity. I wrote earlier this week about former receiver Jerome Pathon helping out this spring while he's back in school finishing his undergraduate degree.
Milloy is currently an NFL free agent and is hoping to sign a deal and continue his career.
The report from the school today highlights the play of sophomore WR Jordan Polk, who scored three touchdowns. Polk's having a really nice spring having also scored a TD on an 80-yard kickoff return in Saturday's scrimmage and also making a highlight-reel catch in traffic that day.
Sounds as if a lot of the WRs had decent days as that report also singles out Anthony Boyles and Jermaine Kearse and states that Luther Leonard, recently converted from quarterback, had a TD.
In health news, Alvin Logan and Vonzell McDowell were out of red and back to at least limited action. Matt Mosley and Brandon Johnson were also back in action, though WR D'Andre Goodwin, as expected, was out with a hamstring injury.
The three players who were missing earlier in the week for academic reasons --- RB Terrance Dailey, LB Bradly Roussel and OT Allen Carroll --- remain out and today were joined by another player, OL Ben Ossai, who missed practice today for what were said to be academic matters.
