I'm told that the other two finalists to become the new Pac-10 commissioner were Sandy Alderson, the CEO of the San Diego Padres, and Terry Marks, an executive with Coke.
Also, UW was represented on the search committee by president Mark Emmert.
I'll try to pass along some UW reaction soon.
