Sark speaks at halftime
Posted by Bob Condotta
New UW coach Steve Sarkisian and the rest of the Husky coaching staff was introduced at halftime of the UCLA basketball game.
And while there was no news, there was lots of energy as Sarkisian literally screamed into the microphone.
Here's what he said:
"I'm going to be brief but I'll tell you what, this is the greatest coaching staff in America right here, guys.
"We cannot wait for Labor Day weekend. We've got a lot of hard work to do but when Husky Stadium is rocking with all of you guys in here, the Dawg Pack rolling, and we are getting physical people and knocking them around, we are all going to celebrate and together bring Husky nation back to where we need to be.''
That was it.
Then he left with the rest of the staff as all of the recruits are here at the game.
Of the new assistants, Nick Holt got by far the loudest applause, surely because of his enthusiastic press conference but also because he may be the only one most people have heard much about.
