Another new Husky
Posted by Bob Condotta
Back from a Christmas party to see that the Huskies apparently have another new commit, this one from defensive end Talia Crichton of Lakewood, Calif.
RealDawg.com had the story as did Scout.com, which quoted him saying he's a "firm commitment'' but might still take keep his options open just ajar --- he also has offers from Arizona, Utah and Idaho. Rivals.com says he also had an offer from Oregon.
Here's a good feature on Crichton from the LBPost.com detailing how he has had to overcome the death of his brother. Here also are his stats for the season, showing he had 18 sacks.
Assuming all the commits hold, Crichton is the ninth player for UW's Class of 2009.
STOOPS TO IOWA STATE? --- Also interesting Pac-10 news tonight that Arizona's Mike Stoops is being rumored in the mix at Iowa State.
