More on coaches

Posted by Bob Condotta

Here's a bit more detail on the news of last night that USC secondary coach Rocky Seto has been offered the defensive coordinator's job from the LA Daily News and the LA Times.

Seto told both papers he is thinking about it and considers it an exciting offer. His wife, whose maiden name was Sharla Chiang, was a standout soccer player at Newport High in Bellevue before playing at USC.

The Times story also breaks down the potential future of a lot of other members of USC's staff, indicating that Seto is likely the only full-time member of the staff coming to UW.

Scott Wolf also has a note about Sarkisian quickly switching into UW gear for a recruiting trip to a high school game last night.

FootballScoop.com, meanwhile, is the latest to report that Yogi Roth will coach the QBs at UW.

There's also this today from Conquest Chronicles taking to task an LA-area columnist who raised some questions about the hire of Sarkisian. The author, however, needs to learn how to spell Gregg Doyel's name.

All for now.
