UW 33-point underdogs at Cal
Posted by Bob Condotta
In case you've forgotten, there's one last game for the Huskies to play, Saturday at Cal.
And Vegas thinks UW has little chance, installing the Bears as 33-point favorites.
In a season when UW has lost a lot of blowouts, that is actually the second-largest spread against the Huskies this year, topped only by the 45-point line at USC.
And in other news, Boise State coach Chris Petersen told the Idaho Statesman for a story in today's paper that he expects to stay put. Interesting, however, that he didn't completely rule out moving to UW or somewhere else saying that he's "not necessarily'' interested in taking another job. Don't know if that means he's leaving the door slightly ajar for UW -- all available evidence suggests he's not interested in it -- or simply the typical coach-speak to never really rule out anything.
