DuRocher gets save for Everett

Former Husky QB Johnny DuRocher is now pitching with Everett of the Northwest League --- the team is an affiliate of the Mariners.
And his season is off to a solid start as he got the save last night by pitching two scoreless inninings in a win over Spokane.
Jake Locker, meanwhile, went 1-4 with two strikes, an error and a stolen base as the Bellngham Bells lost to Moses Lake 3-2.

what happend to Durocher he was a pretty big time recruit out of highschool, was he overated

DuRocher was a great QB coming out of Bethel, but his brain surgery cost him his football career.

Johnny was always an excellent athlete. Might have been in the NFL now if he had managed to stay at one school for four years. Good luck to him in baseball. Troy Must Be Destroyed (ducks demolished)
