Locker returns to Bellingham lineup, keys win
Posted by Bob Condotta
Jake Locker played his first game for the Bellingham Bells this week on Sunday and had one of his better performances, going 1-2 with a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored as the Bells beat Spokane 5-3.
The Bells are now 6-9. Locker has played in seven games, starting six in center field, hitting .227 (5-22) with two extra-base hits (double, homer) and five runs scored. He also has stolen three bases in four attempts.
The Bells play this week in Wenatchee but Locker isn't expected to participate.
