Updates on baseball-playing QBs
Posted by Bob Condotta
First, the Bellingham Bells lost 3-1 to Wenatchee yesterday, concluding a tough series for Jake Locker, who was 0-8 with four strikeouts.
He is now hitting .200 for the season (4-20) with two extra base hits (homer, double).
Next, former Husky QB Johnny DuRocher is moving rapidly up the Mariners' organization. He was promoted to Class A Wisconsin on Sunday after throwing 5-2/3 innings of shutout baseball in a brief stint with Everett.
