--- The BleacherReport.com has this preview of the Pac-10, picking the Huskies seventh. Not sure how much help Robert Lewis will be this year, however, since he's already graduated.
--- The Bellingham Bells won last night with Jake Locker having an easy game, pinch-hitting and walking in the 11th inning.
--- The Wenatchee World has this story saying Locker won't make the trip to that city for a series next week. UW players will return to campus Monday for the beginning of summer school and off-season conditioning.
--- The Sporting News' Matt Hayes lists Locker as one of five players nationally who could make the biggest leap from freshman to sophomore seasons.
--- Hayes also ranked UW's schedule the second-hardest in the Pac-10 this year behind USC's.
--- The HeismanPundit lists its top 10 candidates for that trophy this year and includes just one Pac-10 player ---- USC running back Stafon Johnson.
--- Lastly, here's the Seattle Times story today on some of the recent troubles faced by the WSU football program. Here also is a place to comment.
All for now.
