ESPN names James face of Husky program

Little surprise here as ESPN.com has tabbed former Husky coach Don James as the Face of the Program for the University of Washington.
Hard to argue with that pick. Some older fans may be able to make a case for Jim Owens, but I think for fans today, James remains the defining figure of UW football.
I remain surprised they didn't include Sonny Sixkiller in their list of five nominees as the face of the program. As I wrote a few weeks ago, I don't think there was ever a more popular Husky, or one who was more well-known throughout the state and country.
