Moos: Still no contact
Posted by Bob Condotta
I talked again today with Raymond Cihak, the lawyer for Bill Moos who is serving as his spokesman for inquiries about his status as a candidate for athletic director jobs.
And Cihak said again today that Moos has had no contact "from anybody at UW or the search firm'' the school has hired to assist in the process.
That may mean Moos is not a candidate for the job as I have been told by other sources that the school has been contacting candidates, having apparently picked up steam in that task when Scott Woodward announced on May 1 that he wouldn't pursue the job full-time.
For what it's worth, Bob Stull of UTEP, also rumored to be a candidate, has not responded to interview requests in the last week.

I don't think so because there really isn't a long delay with no AD. Woodward has been doing the job since January and has been very active, and being in such a position of prominence in the school already allowed him to hit the ground running in the AD's post. They've been hiring people and scheduling games and all that just like they would have with a permanent AD. And right now, the Husky Stadium thing is at a standstill anyway as they have to wait until the next legislative session in January before they make that proposal again.

Thanks for your thoughts Bob.
Bummer about a "standstill" on the stadium project.
It just feels like it'll be like 2010 before we ever actually enjoy any new stadium of any shape or form.

Do we think this long delay with no AD has a negative impact of any kind?
