Husky recruits win track titles

Two of UW's incoming freshmen spent the weekend living up to their reputation for speed.
Jordan Polk, a receiver from Lincoln High in Portland, won the 100 and 200 at the Oregon 6A District 1 meet, taking the 100 in 10.68 and the 200 in 22.20.
Adam Long, a cornerback from St. Bernard High in Los Angeles, won the 100 and 200 at the California Southern Section Division IV Finals, taking the 100 in 10.71 and the 200 in 21.20.
