Reece getting Raiders tryout
Posted by Bob Condotta
Former UW receiver Marcel Reece, cut earlier this week by the Dolphins, is now in mini-camp with the Oakland Raiders.
He's one of 15 players getting a tryout with the team, according to this report, which means he isn't on the official roster but could be signed after the weekend, as happened last week with Dan Howell at Cincinnati.
Unfortunately, the story notes that Reece was among receivers who had trouble catching the ball, drawing a glare from receivers coach James Lofton.
Former Huskies Louis Rankin and Greyson Gunheim are also in the mini-camp, having been officially signed to the roster earlier. This story notes Rankin has been rotating with Michael Bush and Darren McFadden.
