UW fills one associate AD job

A day after announcing he wouldn't pursue the job as UW's full-time athletic director, Scott Woodward essentially filled one of the department's two vacant senior associate AD jobs.
The school announced today that Jennifer Cohen will be promoted to the new position of senior associate athletic director for development, essentially putting her in charge of fundraising for the athletic department. Here is the release from GoHuskies.com.
Cohen essentially takes the position vacated two months ago when Scott Barnes left to become the new AD at Utah State. Along with needing to find a new AD, the Huskies also recently lost another associate AD, Jeff Compher, who was essentially the No. 2 man in the department. He is still on the job through June but recently accepted a position as the new AD at Northern Illinois.
