Washington had two games selected today for broadcast by ABC or ESPN, home contests against Oklahoma and Notre Dame that will both essentially be night games
The Oklahoma game, set for Sept. 13, will kick off at 4:45 p.m. and will be telecast on ESPN. The Notre Dame game on Oct. 25 will kick off at 5 p.m. and will be televised on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
Each of these will essentially be national telecasts.
As of now, those are the only two UW games set for TV for next season but many others are likely to end up with some sort of telecast as this was just the first round of TV selections for next season. Fox Sports Net will make its first set of picks by June 1 when a handful of other Husky games will likely be selected.
UPDATE --- Here's a release with more details from GoHuskies.com noting that the Dec. 6 game at Cal will also be on ESPN, ESPN2 or FSN, though no time has yet been set.
