OSU's Stroughter regains year
Posted by Bob Condotta
In news out of Corvallis that will impact the Huskies (and the rest of the Pac-10), Beaver receiver Sammie Stroughter on Friday was granted an additional year of eligibility and said he will return for the 2008 season.
Here's a link from the school's website as well as this from the Oregonian.
OSU will play at Husky Stadium Oct. 18. The last time Stroughter stepped foot in Husky Stadium he caught seven passes for 223 yards in leading a Beavers win in 2006, the game when Isaiah Stanback was injured.
UW PRO DAY --- For those who have asked, Friday was Washington's Pro Day, when NFL scouts come to campus and run prospective draftees through a variety of tests. I was not able to be there so I have no first-hand report. But if I get anything on it I will pass it along.
