Prince to UCLA
Posted by Bob Condotta
The Los Angeles Daily News is reporting that Kevin Prince has indeed switched his commitment to UCLA, costing the Huskies a quarterback and apparently solidifying their recruiting class at 26.
Prince, from Crespi High in Encino, Calif., had committed to UW in December over the Bruins, but became interested again in UCLA when former Husky coach Rick Neuheisel got the job in Westwood.
UW still has two QBs in this class --- Evergreen High's Luther Leonard and Dominique Blackman of Carson, Calif. It's uncertain when Prince will enroll due to injury and a church mission, so his loss is more of a long-term hit than short-term.
UW is now likely to have 26 members in this class and to sign 25 players tomorrow --- Chris Polk won't sign an LOI tomorrow as he has already signed financial aid papers after enrolling in January.
