AD update
Posted by Bob Condotta
No huge news.
But wanted to pass along that last Thursday marked Todd Turner's last official day as athletic director, with Scott Woodward taking over as interim AD on Friday.
At the moment, that's where things stand. A search committee is expected to be formed at some point to help in the selection of a new AD. Woodward may also be a candidate though he hasn't said anything yet on that publicly.
Woodward, football coach Tyrone Willingham and former Gov. Dan Evans, the chairman of the Husky Stadium renovation committee, are expected to meet before the state legislature tomorrow in Olympia to talk about the school's request for $150 million in state money for a rebuild of the stadium.
