Where for art thou cellphone voters?

I have been predicting, yes, even betting friends and relatives, that Republican Dino Rossi will win the super-close governor's race in Washington. Then, something stops me: cellphone-only voters who are out of reach of some pollsters. These voters tend to be young and lean Democratic, or at least, they favor Democratic Sen. Barack Obama. Are the polls missing this emerging voting group in our state?
Nationwide polling in the presidential race shows a measurable difference between polls that capture landlines and cellphones from those based on landline contacts only. It's only about a two-or-three-point difference, but that could be significant if those points translate to Washington state politics. Click below for a Q&A podcast about this column:
