Objection from the Gregoire camp
Posted by David Postman
A Gregoire campaign staffer says my post below made it sound like there was no genuine support for the governor among the more than 1,000 Democrats here. For the record, there was genuine support for the governor in the room, and even among those organized and encouraged to show support. It was just an awful lot of organization for a candidate, with no primary opposition, before her own party's convention.

I was at the convention and Gregiore's party was very well put together.
She however does have one problem, the Clinton voters and her strange endorsement of Barak Obama.
Some of her staunchest allies in the past that got her into office are trying to find a way to continue to supporter her after what seems like a Bill Richardson betrayal of Senator Clinton.
Her speech and cheerleading of Senator Obama without a mention of the historic candidacy of Senator Clinton pushed many of us further away.
Even if we do ultimately vote for her because Rossi is such a doh doh, she'll get no money or elbow grease from us.

To JIMD:
To accuse anyone without justification of saying that about Senator John McCain is indecent.
I’m calling on Mr. Postman, if he has any integrity to ban you from this site.
You’re disgusting little kid who hides behind a keyboard and drops bombs.
I plan on monitoring this site to make sure your banned!
If not, I’ll proceed with further action against you and the Times.
I insist MR. POSTMAN you have JIMD apologize to me then banned him.
I don’t want to leave this malice open ended.

Almost funny. Even the governor is upset with the manipulations and oddball reporting of the Corporate Mainstream News Media.
