Driving under the influence of stupidity

According to the State Patrol, Trooper Trevor Downey was driving to his home outside of Zillah just after 4 p.m. Tuesday when he came up from behind a Dodge Avenger going about 30 mph in the posted 50 mph zone. With Downey still behind, the Dodge turned into Downey's driveway and parked in the trooper's garage.
Downey pulled up behind the parked vehicle and approached the driver as he was getting out of the car. Downey asked the man what he was doing. The driver said, "I live here."
Bad move.
Downey told the driver that he had actually pulled into Downey's garage. After interviewing the driver for a few moments the driver, Downey arrested him for investigation of driving under the influence.
Joseph Takesgun, 31, from nearby Buena, was also booked for driving with a revoked license. Takesgun has three previous DUI convictions, according to the State Patrol.
