If you're a Seahawks fan, are you as pumped about this postseason as you were last year. If not, why not?

I am as pumped up as ever! We had so many injuries and we still finished 9-7. Are offense is starting to click and are defense looked pretty solid the last two games. So I am pumped up. So I will and I hope that on Saturday we will bring the house down with noise and playing good football.

This season has been about waiting for the other cleat to drop instead of watching the Hawks use both cleats to walk all over the NFC like they did last year. What would the season highlight DVD for 2006 look like, should we make it to the Super Bowl? The only games that would be included on the half-disc collector's edition would be those against New York, Green Bay, Denver, and Oakland, with a few Josh Brown clips. Compare that to the 2005 nail-biting wins against Atlanta, Dallas, and New York and the slaughters of Philadelphia, San Francisco and Carolina. The feeling's clearly not the same. The 12th Man has a fever, but it's more of an illness from stress than the infectious winning of 2005.

Could it be the curse of Texas A&M? The Hawks were 15-3 last season before the Aggies sued over the use of "the 12th Man." Since then? The Hawks are 9-8 including the XL atrocity.

Remember the 2001 Mariners and the magic of that run? And how the 2002 Mariners, comprised of essentially the same players, failed to make the playoffs? After lightning strikes, it tends to quickly, and I was praying that last year was no such fluke.

I'm so ready for the Hawks to do some serious damage in the wide open NFC playoffs, despite the CB injuries. This time last year, during the 1st rd bye, I was wondering if the Hawks would finally win that elusive playoff game. With Alexander going down against Washington, Hass came through in a BIG way. I expect Hass to be smart with the ball & lead this team to victory this Saturday & beyond. Hasselbeck is, with some debate, the best QB in the NFC playoffs. The offense is starting to gel & the O-line is finally getting push up front. To say defensively the pass rush will be paramount is, without question, an understatement. Yes, I am READY for some SEAHAWK football & fully prepared to lose my voice this weekend!....SO listen 12th Man, let's show the Cowboys what a mistake they made by losing their division & now have to play in the loudest stadium in the NFL.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me?!? This season was a proving ground. We sustained many, many injuries and, even though our record is one game better then .500, we played well enough and won enough to secure another division title and host a playoff game.

I am VERY excited about this postseason!

If you can still talk on Sunday morning, if you are able to be heard by anyone near you at all ... then YOU WEREN'T LOUD ENOUGH !!! You need to be completely hoarse on Sunday !!! Completely !!!

And only wear blue and green please! No other colors people !

If you are not YELLING AS LOUD as YOU CAN then give your tickets away to someone who will. No lame-os allowed !!!

How can you not be pumped that they are in the playoffs, I was a fan when they were 3-13 with the best defense in the league. I'm not a hawks fan because they win games, I'm a hawks fan because I was born and raised on seahawks football. I don't care if they win the Super Bowl but we have the chance to and I hope they play as best they can. Sports writers write pessimistically because it sells, I'm happy every time I see the hawks take the field, even more so when we are the underdogs and were in the playoffs.
