Easy. A bacon cheeseburger at Burgermaster, scallops only at Spuds with ketchup, a plain slice from Paggliaci, and a fresh french roll from an in-store Safeway bakery. It doesn't have to be fancy to be great.

Smash Wine Bar on 45th in Wallingford...great food and wine, and the best cheese plates in town.
Relaxed atmostphere with very knowledgable and accomadating staff. Have been twice now, and both times were amazing.

The Foie Gras appetizer at Canlis, just had it on the 23rd. The most heavenly bite of food in 2006.

the greatest barbarcue around, the caveman kitchen in kent, my favorite, a smoked salmon sandwich on a french roll slathered in cream cheese and the cavemans barbacue sauce, absolutely delicious

Cafe Flora for vegetarian/vegan lunch - the lunch special.

Honey Court for old school dim sum for the weekend.

Burgermaster on Aurora avenue for burgers. Secret: it's the meat.

Pomme Frites for Belgium Fries. Addictive.

Grateful Bread bakery on Oregon coast. All good, especially the pancakes. Fluffy and huge!

For Christmas, my girlfriend took me to The Melting Pot in Bellevue. Thats exactly what I did...melt at every single bite. The server was awsome and earned every bit of the tip we left!
