I shared a house in Kinnear Park with John and his son Noah and a reporter from the Seattle Times who passed away several years ago. John and Noah were wonderful roommates and we had wonderful times together. Each night John would read to Noah and my foster daughter from books like Wind in the Willows, Beatrix Potter, etc. He would use his considerable talents to make the characters come alive. We will always remember those evenings with joy and love. John will be missed by many. His talent in acting and his passion for justice will not be forgotten.
