Mee-ow: Cheezburger kitties paw top dog Zillow on Seattle startup index
Posted by Brier Dudley
Zillow's facing serious competition for the top spot in Marcelo Calbucci's monthly ranking of Seattle's most-trafficked Web startups.
The parent company of cute kitty phenomenon I Can Has Cheezburger, Pet Holdings, jumped to second place and looks like it will soon overtake Zillow, according to Calbucci's analysis.
Housing must really have hit bottom, if people are more interested in funny cat pictures than house values. But they're so cute and silly!
WidgetBucks is also scratching and jumping its way toward the top, climbing 15 spots to number 11.
Marcelo noted other big gainers on the index included Pelago, up 36 spots; Jambool, up 74; Avvo, up 11; and Others Online, up 11.
