First there was the iPhone Beer, now Avvo's done an iPhone beer counter

Actually Avvo's new "Last Call" iPhone application keeps track of more than just beer.

You can also use the program to track how much booze and wine you've drunk, then estimate how much alcohol is in your system.

The app can also be used to find nearby taxi services or DUI lawyers via Avvo's lawyer rating and referral service. Assuming you don't forget the phone after having too many drinks.

Mark Britton, the Seattle startup's chief executive, said about 1,000 people have downloaded it from Apple's App Store since it was released a few days ago. If it really takes off, it could conceivably be linked to external breathalyzer-type devices.

It's free. Avvo's just using it to generate buzz ...
