(UPDATED) Tech reporter exodus: Todd Bishop and John Cook quit Seattle P-I
Posted by Brier Dudley
After good runs at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Todd Bishop and John Cook quit to work for the weekly Puget Sound Business Journal.
Bishop had covered Microsoft and Cook had covered venture capital for the Hearst-owned paper.
Good luck guys, it's been fun.
UPDATE: Details are coming out. They're going to keep reporting and blogging, but for a tech news site affiliated with the Business Journal, which is also stepping up its Web presence. Eric Engleman, a PSBJ reporter, will also contribute. The site will have a different name that hasn't been disclosed yet. Sounds like Xconomy, VentureBeat, Crosscut, etc.
