The Obamica and McCippah: Political yarmulkes from Seattle techie

Posted by Brier Dudley

Check out the first products from, a Web venture just launched by local startup veteran Shmuel Tennenhaus.

The company develops and sells topical kippahs, a traditional Jewish head covering. VanityKippah's storefront says it "aims to position the Kippah/Yarmulke/Skullcap as a must have fashion accessory. Stay tuned for the Bluetooth Kippah and the the ringtone Yarmulke."

Tennenhaus worked for several Ignition Patners-backed companies -- and GlobalScholar, where he was marketing director -- before starting to develop "something more fun."

Next he needs Adam Sandler to write a marketing jingle.
