Cloud database Blist goes global, adds community tools

About 30 percent of the people using Blist, the Seattle-based online database, are already outside the U.S., Chief Executive Kevin Merritt said in a release.
That should grow now that Blist has internationalized the service, supporting languages such as French, Norwegian, Japanese, Hindi and Mandarin Chinese.
The service also added group and community collaboration tools and video tutorials, stuff that should help the company talk the talk at this week's Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco.
