"Pre-announces" ?
Is that just a drum roll - i.e., no words (or it would be an announcement..)
My coffee machine "pre-brews"; at the airport people are able to "pre-board", various services enable (force) customers to "pre-register" and to "pre-pay".
Hey !! A little respect for language and logic. Please.
