In the Swim of things...

Spent Saturday at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, shooting the Boys 4A State Swim Meet, thus completing a recent trifecta of shooting prep wrestling, gymnastics, and swimming.

Snohomish High School dominated the event, accomplishing two goals they had set for their season: winning the team title, and also breaking a 17-year old state record in the 200 yard Medley Relay.

Snohomish freshman Garren Riechel comes up for air during during the breastroke. Riechel competed in four final heats at the State 4A swim meet in Federal Way. He swam the breastroke leg of the 200 yard medley on a squad that set a state record with a time of 1:36:12.
