Update: The McCain campaign just released this ad contrasting Gov. Palin's experience with Sen. Obama. One of the reasons I think this pick works is that every time the Democrats tell you Palin doesn't have the experience to be VP, it's a reminder that Obama doesn't have any more experience than she does. In my opinion it's similar to Obama going to the beach as he has done a number of times now. Seeing him swimming and walking on the beach with his shirt off looking fit reminds voters that McCain is old.
