Bush Handles The Latest Crisis. Feel Better?

Posted by Eric Devericks

I watched Bush's speech on the bailout last night and I didn't feel any better. In fact, I feel more uneasy knowing Bush is in charge of yet another crisis.

McCain Needs More Lipstick

Posted by Eric Devericks

I can hardly believe what's going on with the economy and some of this countries largest financial institutions. According to polls, the economy is the biggest issue in this years election. It's hard for me to put all the blame for what's going on on the Bush Administration because it seems to me that most of the very poor decisions that got us here were made solely by shortsighted, greedy banks and investment firms. What I can't help but think though, is that someone had to be warning the Bush administration that this was coming a long time ago and to my knowledge they did nothing.

As a fellow Republican McCain is going to have to answer for Bush's mess to some degree. With all the talk of lipstick and pigs lately this seemed like the perfect image to bring it all together.

Digging Up Some Putin

Posted by Eric Devericks

I went back in my archives and dug up a couple Putin cartoons that I've done in the last few years. It's not often that cartoons have a long shelf life but these seem to still work somehow. I threw some color on them and here you go.

The Bush Legacy

Update:

I just got a call from a reader who was horrified by this cartoon and told me she thought it was GROSSLY UNFAIR. Then she went on to tell me that George Bush is just one of the 65 million evangelical Christians in this country whose only goal in life is to destroy the middle east, kill babies all to make Israel bigger. I was going to point out that I thought she her characterization of all evangelical Christians as baby killers might be unfair too, but she hung up.

I'd be happy to chat with you again sometime, I would like to speak though.
