"American Idol" Top 36, Group 1: Michael Sarver gets it done

Michael Sarver sang "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin Degraw.
I still like this guy a lot. He looks like he's having fun up there, and it's contagious. Nice closing run.
Here's what the judges said:
Randy: "You can definitely sing, but it started out rough pitch-wise."
Kara: "You've got more in you."
Paula: "I thought you did a real good job."
Simon: "This is a tricky one. I'm not going to say this was the best vocal. I hope America does pick up the phone and give you another shot."
