Matt Giraud
Age: 23 | Hometown: Kalamazoo, Mich. | Job: Singer, piano player
Matt is a performer in a "dueling pianos" show -- in fact, he's playing shows this weekend. He's a graduate of Western Michigan University. He has released two CDs, so he's no amateur. His stock improved dramatically during the Hollywood round when he accompanied himself on the piano for "Georgia On My Mind."

Danny Gokey
Age: 28 | Hometown: Milwaukee, Wis. | Job: Church music teacher
Danny's garnering some of the strongest buzz of all the Top 36. He made an impact with the story of how he performed in his first "Idol" audition four weeks after the death of his wife. Since then, it's his singing that has drawn viewers. He has worked as the praise and worship leader at Faith Builders International Ministry in Wisconsin. He founded a non-profit organization, Sophia's Heart Foundation, in his wife's honor.

Alexis Grace
Age: 20 | Hometown: Memphis, Tenn. | Job: Unknown
Alexis plays the guitar and piano, and says she likes a wide range of musical genres. She had been rejected two years in a row at the "Idol" auditions. She is the single mother of a little girl, Ryan Elizabeth.
