Pike Chocofest: foreplay for the Big Day

Tomorrow, from 6 to 9 p.m., Charles and Rose Ann Finkel of Pike Brewing in Pike Place Market are playing host to Pike Chocofest, which sounds like the perfect way to start your Valentine's Weekend if you ask me. Trust me: the Finkels know how to show folks a good time:

And if you love a good schmoozefest -- where you might rub elbows with the people who give us good reason to lift ours, and if the idea of tasting your way through a festival of chocolate while you sip fine wines and other tippler's temptations gives you a thrill, this is your event.

Tickets are $25 per person. I suggest calling to reserve in advance (phone Michael St. Clair at 206-812-6613) though Rose Ann says tickets should also be available at the door if you decide to head over to join in the Market merrymaking at the last minute.
