And for pizza lovers with allergies and intolerances. . .

Janet Duran, co-owner of Haley's Corner Bakery in Kent, has the answer for pizza lovers with allergies and intolerances that may keep them from enjoying the likes of Veraci Pizza, discussed earlier today. She contacted me recently, noting that one of her customers had read what I had to say about dining with allergies, and urged her to introduce me (and you) to Haley's Corner.

The family-run bakery is completely gluten-free and offers a variety of freshly baked products, including some that are both gluten- and casein-free, and others baked without gluten, casein, soy or eggs -- including their popular pizzas. "Our pizza may be of interest to you and your readers because we make them to order," Janet said. "Customers can order their pizza with whatever toppings suit their dietary restrictions and create tasty temptations to their own liking."

For those who like to create their own tasty temptations at home, gluten-free Da Vinci Bakery & Cafe in Greenwood (a place I know and love) sells pizza dough to-go -- among other sweets and savories. And my gluten-intolerant pal Kate is only one of many who've has been singing the praises of the newly relocated Flying Apron Bakery, now impressing vegans and those who eat gluten-free, in Fremont -- as well as at neighborhood farmers markets.
